Clare Gibbons-Kennady

Prayer Vigil will be at 6:00 PM Friday in the chapel of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Saturday with Msgr. Joseph Tash, celebrant officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Kennady was born in Houston on January 24, 1925 to Elmer Francis and Agnes Catherine (McCue) Gibbons. She graduated from St. Agnes Academy in Houston. She moved to Fort Worth in 1960, where she worked as an account rep. for Ben Hogan Golf Company. She retired in 1990 after 15 years of faithful service. Mrs Kennady served as a volunteer at the Women's Center of Tarrant County for 5 years. She married Hiram Walker McNeal in 1946. He preceded her in death in 1957. She married Nicholas Kennady in 1960. He passed away in 1962. Mrs. Kennady was a faithful member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. She is survived by her son, Bradley W. McNeal of Phoenix, AZ; 2 daughters, Carolyn Reeves of Amarillo and Marybeth Bloch and her husband Paul of Bedford; 2 brothers, E.F. :Frank"" Gibbons of Spring and W.J. ""Bill"" Gibbons of Boca Raton, FL; 6 grandchildren, Clay Blake, Cathy Moore, Julia McCoy, Melissa Lindmark, Nicholas Reeves and Phillip Reeves and 5 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be to The Women's Center of Tarrant County, 1723 Hemphill Fort Worth, Texas 76110.
