Claudette Graves

Claudette Graves 73, of Amarillo died Thursday October 30, 2008 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday at South Georgia Baptist Church with Bob Miller, pastor officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Graves was born in Monahans. She moved to Amarillo in 1987 from Channing. She worked at Boys Ranch for several years in the dining Hall. She was a member of South Georgia Baptist Church, the Panhandle Singing Women and the Cancer support group, Princess Warriors. She married Doyle Graves in 1957 at Durrant, OK. She is survived by her husband, 6 daughters, Mary Miles and her husband Dave, Debora Wilson and Rebecca Jackson all of Amarillo, Janice Boyd and her husband Steve of Yukon, OK, Claudia Roth and her husband Dave of Littleton, CO and Carla Rubino of Canyon; 1 son, Jim Graves and his wife Sally of Austin; 2 sisters, Betty Rutledge of Wichita Falls and Lillian Coe of Ardmore, OK; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorial donation to the Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center.
