Clemmie A. Monden

Clemmie A. Monden 100, of Amarillo died Saturday December 13, 2008 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Brett Hogland minister of Indiana Avenue Church of Christ in Lubbock officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart with Kerry Arnold minister of Georgia Street Church of Christ in Amarillo officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Monden was born in Optima, OK. She moved to Amarillo in 2000 from Dumas. Mrs. Monden was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. She loved going to church and rarely missed a service during her 100 years of life. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She married J.L. Monden in 1924. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984 and a granddaughter, Dianna Monden in 1974. Survivors include: 2 sons, John Monden and his wife Tommie and M.A. Monden and his wife Mary, all of Amarillo; 3 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
