Cletha Brunson Perkins

Cletha Brunson Perkins, 81 of Amarillo died Sunday June 9, 2002 at Crown of Texas Hospice. Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at North Carolina St. Church of Christ, 409 N. Carolina St. with Craig Keel officiating. Entombment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery East Mausoleum. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage Street. Mrs. Perkins was born in Oklahoma City. She moved to Amarillo in 1943. She was a homemaker and had worked at Pantex as a purchaser. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club, the Ladies Auxillary of the VFW Post #1475 and Parkview Christian Church. She married George Brunson in 1940 at Shawnee, OK. He died in 1978. She married Bill Perkins in 1980. Survivors include: her husband of the home, 3 daughters; Nancy Getman of Houston, Yvonne Slaughter of Scottsdale, AZ and Annetta Hale of Amarillo, 1 sister; Laverne Owens of Denver, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren
