Clifford Garland 'Rusty' Mason

Clifford Garland "Rusty" Mason, 58, of Amarillo died Saturday, January 11, 2014 in Amarillo. Clifford Garland "Rusty" Mason, journeyed to his eternal home January 11, 2014 following a sudden illness. Memorial Services will be held in the Family Life Church on March 15, 2014 at 10:00 am. with pastor Dale Travis officiating. Rusty was born in Amarillo on May 22, 1955 to Carl and Betty Mason. He was an excellent carpenter and a hard worker all throughout his life. Those that knew him knew that he had a strong connection with his Lord and loved his church. He loved Jesus, and his family with all his heart and soul. With his humor, he always had a quick come back that continued to make people smile. Rusty is preceded in death by his beloved mother. Rusty will be missed by many, and leaves behind a legacy of faith and love for his family. He is survived by, 2 daughters: Amanda Mason of Amarillo, and Amber Mason- Peterson and her husband Eric of San Antonio, 3 grandchildren, Caden Anthony, Caylor Amree, and Griffin Highlynn. 3 brothers, Mike, Danny and Chris, and a sister Jan all of Amarillo. Four nephews, a niece and seven great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations go to Family Life Church. 3900 SW 58th Ave, Amarillo, TX 79110.
