Clifford Williams

Clifford Williams, 71, of Amarillo died on Monday, October 30, 2006 in Amarillo. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 3:00 PM in Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel with Reverend Robert Field, retired Baptist Minister officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage, Amarillo TX 79103. Mr. Williams was born in Ohio and raised in Tennessee. He served his country proudly during the Korean conflict. He was a recipient of the UN Service Cross, Good Conduct Medal, Bronze Star, and the Presidents Citation. He was honorably discharged in 1961. He worked for Owens Corning for ten years and then retired due to health problems.Survivors include, a daughter, Teresa Mulholland of Greely CO; four sons; Bud Clifford Williams of Dalhart; Brian Williams of Phoenix, AZ; Billy Joe Williams of Dalhart; and Mark Soloman Williams of Amarillo; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
