Clifton L. Wheeler

Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Rector Funeral Home Chapel with Loran Harper, pastor of Comanche Trail Church of Christ officiating. Military Honors will be rendered. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St., Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Wheeler was born in Childress. He lived in Amarillo most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves for 17 years retiring in 1996 as a SFC. He worked for Sams Wholesale for 15 years. Survivors include 2 sons; Clifton Wayne Wheeler and wife Chastity of Fayetteville, NC and Devin Wheeler of Amarillo, 4 brothers; Russell Wheeler, Paul Wheeler and Rick Wheeler all of Amarillo and Tim Wheeler of Childress, his father; Loyd Wheeler of Amarillo and 1 grandson; Clifton Jakob Wheeler of Fayetteville, NC. The family will be at 4202 King.
