Clinton Clint"" Johnson 66, of Amarillo died Wednesday March 25, 2009 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Greg Kinch officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the DAV Chapter #26. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Johnson was born in Pittsburg, Texas. He moved to Amarillo in 1960 from Dumas. Mr. Johnson served in the Army during Vietnam. He worked for the City of Amarillo for several years. After leaving the City of Amarillo he enjoyed woodworking. He loved making toys and intricate pieces of furniture. Mr. Johnson married Carolyn Knutson in 1979 in Taos. He attended Southlawn Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; 1 daughter, Karol Weathersbee of Amarillo; 1 son, Donnie Johnson of Sedalia, MO; 1 stepson, Darrell Tanner of Amarillo; 1 sister, Elaine Detterman of Amarillo and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
