Consepcion Palomino

Consepcion Palomino, 59, of Amarillo passed away on February 20, 2023. The family will receive guests on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm at Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 10am in the funeral home's chapel. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Consepcion was born in Muleshoe, Texas on June 6, 1963 to Florentino Sr and Socorro (Silva) Palomino. In August of 1988, he married his beloved wife Patricia (Dominguez) Palomino in Plainview, Texas, although both never considered this their anniversary and agreed February 14, 1988 to hold that coveted title. Consepcion was an incredibly devoted family man who loved to spend time with his wife, kids, and in-laws having cookouts and sharing a good joke. He had an incredible sense of humor, and loved to laugh and make others laugh. Consepcion was often found listening to music or enjoying the outdoors, two of his favorite things to pass the time. He loved people. Consepcion never met a stranger and cared for everyone. Relation or not, he wanted to make sure everyone was ok. He was very intuitive. No matter the problem, Consepcion found a way to get whatever task he had completed and done right. His work ethic was unmatched. He loved to find a way to get his tasks done. He was a fighter. Consepcion worked so hard. Even when his health began to decline, he continued to work and fight through whatever ailments he was facing with a smile. Consepcion is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Adam and Frank Palomino, and sister Norma Rodriguez. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Patricia, daughters Patricia, Marina, and Lillyana Palomino, son Aaron Palomino, sisters Rosa and Alma Palomino, brothers Florentino Jr, Guadalupe, Ever, and Cesar Palomino; two grandchildren and many other loving family and dear friends.
