Corine Placida Gonzales Sisneros

Corine Placida Gonzales Sisneros 70, of Amarillo died Friday March 6, 2009 in Amarillo. Rosary will be at 5:00 PM Sunday in Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will be at Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Sisneros was born in Tucumcari, NM. She moved to Amarillo in 1957 from Tucumcari. She worked at Panhandle Laundry and Cleaners for many years. She also worked with her husband as a custodian, cleaning the UA Theatre fro several years. Mrs. Sisneros was a member of Blessed Sacrament. She married Nick Sisneros on September 3, 1966 in Amarillo. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was also and avid Dallas Cowboys fan Survivors include her husband, 3 daughters, Debbie Jennings, Donna Sisneros and Lorraine Webster all of Amarillo; 1 son, David Sisneros of Amarillo; 4 sisters, Dorothy Jennings and Mary Garcia both of Amarillo, Helen Garcia of Yukon, OK and Bernice Martinez of Tucumcari, NM; 1 brother, James Gonzales of Amarillo; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family requests memorial donations to the Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center.
