Corrine Baca

Corrine Baca, 77, of Mosquero, NM died Sunday, November 17, 2019 in Bushland, TX, surrounded by her loving family. Rosary will be held Friday November 22, 2019 at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel from 6:30-8pm. Funeral mass will be 10:00 am Saturday November 23, 2019 at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 4122 S. Bonham St, Amarillo, TX. Arrangements by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Corrine was born December 5, 1941 to Genoveva and Diego Arguello in Albert, NM. Corrine was a woman of great faith, a dedicated and devout Catholic. She was so courageous, an example of strength and faith in God until her last breath on earth. She was a member of the choir and Altar Society at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Mosquero, NM. Corrine was introduced to Louis Baca through her brother Victor. She later married Louis, the love of her life, on October 10, 1959 and they completed 60 years of marriage. They lived on their ranch in Mosquero, NM all of her married life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Corrine was always welcoming, and loved to cook for family and friends. She also loved feeding the wild hummingbirds and quail at the ranch. She loved red roses and her favorite color was purple. Corrine is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters; Sr. Marie Carmen Gonzales, Tillie Archuleta, and Elvera Baca, two brothers; Leo and Victor Arguello. She is survived by her husband, Louis Baca. Daughter Frances Tilley and her husband Randy. Two sons, Tony Baca and wife Darla, Louis J. Baca and wife Melinda. Three grandsons, Brandon Baca, Bryce Tilley and wife Danielle (granddaughter), and Shawn Tilley and girlfriend Sage Malouff. A great-grandson Beau Bryce Tilley. And granddaughter Summer Dietz. Two brothers Eloy and Johnny Arguello, two sisters, Annie Bailey, and Jane Sandoval, and numerous nieces and nephews.
