Curtis Ray ""C.R."" King 75, of Amarillo died Tuesday May 4, 2010 in Amarillo. Memorial graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday at Llano Cemetery with Tommy Needham officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the DAV Chapter #26. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. King was born in Cincinnati, OH. He enlisted into the U.S. Navy in 1951. He served during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1961. Mr. King moved to Amarillo in 1980 from North Dakota. He was a master mechanic and worked many different types of engines and motors. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Jason King and a son. He is survived by 2 step-daughters, Anisa Kenemore of Claremore, OK and Tina Wilde of Amarillo; 5 grandchildren, J.J. Kenemore, Kylee Curry, Cody Curry, Paxton Wilde and Parker Kenemore; 1 sister, Jeanette Summers of Albuquerque, NM; 1 niece, Charlotte Summers, and 3 nephews, Stephen Summers, Byran Summers and Gary Summers; special friends Leno and Olivia Rocha. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donation be to the Thomas E. Creek Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 6010 Amarillo Blvd W. Amarillo, Texas 79106.
