Daman Wade Jones

Daman Wade Jones, 51, of Amarillo died Sunday, June 7, 2020. No Services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Daman was born November 18, 1968 in Fort Worth, to Geraldine and Boyd jones. He was a fun loving father that loved spending time with his children. He always encouraged them to be the best they could be, whether it was fishing or playing baseball. He was very family oriented. Every year, the first week of June he would take his family to their family reunion. He loved the river and working on cars. Damon was a hardworking man. He worked at Boyds pumping and Excavation for over 30 years. He will be missed by all those that knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Tammy Rodgers and one brother, Raymond Jones. He is survived by his two daughters; Megan and Regan Jones, three sons, Justin Jones, Brad and Chris Wheaton, two sisters; Terri Ledford and her husband Jim, and Toni Hale and her husband Larry, one brother, Jeff Jones and his wife Juanita, and four grandchildren.
