Daniel Lee Spear

Daniel Lee Spear 44, former Amarillo resident died Tuesday February 15, 2005 at Lubbock. Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday at the Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel with Rev. Danny Logan, pastor of Bell Avenue Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel 8310 S. Coulter. Mr. Spear was born in Amarillo. He graduated from Tascosa High School in 1978. He worked several years as a farmer and rancher with his dad. Mr. Spear had also worked in various metal trades. He became disabled in 1994. Mr. Spear was a Baptist and attended church at the Villa in Wolfforth. Survivors include: 4 sisters; Belinda Trimble and her husband Thomas, Deborah Unruh, Lisa Spear and her fiance' Will Price, all of Amarillo and Sheryl Phillips and her husband Brady of Canyon, 3 brothers; Benny Spear and his wife Tracey of Amarillo, Randall Orcutt of Amarillo and Lyndel Orcutt and his wife Janie of Memphis, his mother; Jackie Spear of Amarillo and his step-mother Cherry Spear of Amarillo and many nieces and nephews. The family requests memorial donations to a favorite charity.
