Danny Lee Daniel

Danny Lee Daniel, 71, of Amarillo died March 21, 2022. Graveside service is 12:00 pm Friday at Llano Cemetery officiated by James Griffin of Temple Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Danny was born in Enid, Ok. on December 26, 1950, to Everett and Marie Daniel. Danny was a very selfless man. He would help anyone with anything without asking anything in return. He had a really good sense of humor and never got angry. Danny met the love of his life, Vicky on a blind date. They married on June 18, 1977. He absolutely adored his grandchildren. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Sylvia and Rose, and one brother, Jimmy. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Vicky, his daughter, Jamie Bates and her husband Douglas, one granddaughter, Kirsten Hopson and her husband Logan, two grandsons; William Bates and Trevor Bates and his wife Deja, three sisters; Carol, Cherri and Phyllis, and one brother, Randy.
