David Gonzales Salazar

David Salazar Gonzalez, 26, of Amarillo passed away from this life on Friday, April 14, 2023. Mass of a Christian Burial is 10:00 am Thursday April 20, at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Rosary is Wednesday at 6:00pm at the funeral home. David Salazar Gonzalez was born in Amarillo on June 23, 1996, to Salvador Salazar and Maria Gonzalez. David graduated from Caprock Highschool. Then went on the attended the automotive program at Amarillo College. David married the love of his life, Jasmin on July 14, 2013. They were blessed with three beautiful children: Aubrey, Arianna, and David Amani Salazar. The time he spent with his family was very valuable and special to him. His family was his whole world. David was blessed to meet his soulmate and best friend at a young age. He was also a loving son, brother, and friend to those around him. He was a wonderful father and husband. He enjoyed renovating his home, and working on cars and especially loved his tools. David was a very humble and caring person who helped others in need. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jasmin Ramos, parents, Maria and Salvador Salazar, his two daughters; Aubrey and Arianna Salazar, one son, David Amani Salazar, two sisters; Maria Salazar and Abigail Rodarte, and his brother, Antonio Uribe.
