Debra 'Debbie' Gail Grinie

Debra "Debbie" Gail Grinie, 69, formerly of Amarillo passed away in Ft Worth, Texas on January 31, 2023. The family will receive guests on Monday, February 6, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm at Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage in Amarillo. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 1pm at Llano Cemetery, 2500 S. Hayes St with Pastor Brad Holmes of First Baptist Church of Amarillo presiding. Debbie was born October 10, 1953, in Amarillo, TX to Hershel and Sydney Baker. She grew up in Amarillo where she attended Emerson Elementary, Horace Mann Jr. High, and Palo Duro High School. Debbie worked at Saint Anthonys Hospital in Central Supply and worked as a Med Aide in various nursing homes in the Amarillo area. She also worked as a Med Aide in the prison system before moving to Saginaw TX. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Hershel W. Baker, Mother, Sydney V. Burleson Anderson Baker, Grandmother Alice Blansit, Aunt Lemoyne Williams, and Nephew Randy Apeland all of Amarillo, TX. Debbie is survived by her husband, of 49 years, Paul Grinie of Saginaw TX; her son Brian Grinie and wife Julie of Bonham, TX; Sisters, Diane Apeland of Amarillo, TX, and Linda Martin, and husband Sam of Irving TX; Grandchildren Lauren Bosko of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Tyler Grinie and wife Summer of Anna, TX, and Hunter Grinie and wife Ysenia of Amarillo, TX; Great-grandchildren, Channing Bosko of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Kadin, Kimberly, Kennedy and Kristopher Grinie of Anna, TX and Evie Grinie of Amarillo, TX. She is also survived by her Nieces, Rhonda Noak and husband, David of Weatherford, TX, Robin Gore and husband, Randy of Sudan, TX, and Dana Reding of Denison TX; Nephews, Ricky Trobaugh of Dallas, TX, and Russell Trobaugh and wife, Maria of Irving, TX.
