Debra Selene Ward-Derryberry

Debra Selene Ward-Derryberry 51, of Amarillo died Monday, October 24, 2011 in Amarillo. Memorial Services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. Carey Skinner officiating. Private interment will be at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton at a later date. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Derryberry was born in Slaton. She moved to Amarillo, in 1996. She enjoyed traveling to Denton and Lubbock to help her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Derryberry in 1991. She is survived by a daughter, April NiKay Owen and her husband Coby of Lubbock; a son GaryDon Derryberry and his wife Julie of Denton; 2 brothers, Roger Ward of Amarillo and Tracy Ward of Kingfisher, OK; her parents, Gary and Robbie (Schooler) Ward of Amarillo and 5 grandchildren; Kaysley, Kinsley and Kelsen Owen, Tanner Derryberry and Jake McCarty. The family requests memorial donations be to the Harrington Cancer Center or a favorite charity.`
