Delores Jean Gollihugh 73, of Amarillo died Monday, April 2, 2012 in Amarillo after a brave battle with cancer. Memorial services will be at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Ms. Gollihugh was born in Nokomis, Illinois on July 13, 1938. Ms. Gollihugh was a very loving and caring person. She always put her family, friends and pets first. She made the world a brighter, peaceful and more colorful place with her extraordinary gardening skills. Delores Jean Gollihugh will always be remembered as a rare and unique rose to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Elsie Taylor, four brothers, Larry Taylor, Walter Taylor, Sammy Taylor and Johnny Taylor. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Sepulveda and Alice Suttle. She is survived by 1 son, Albert Kidder and his wife Mary of Amarillo; 1 daughter, Donna Wolske and her husband Richard of Amarillo; 7 grandchildren, Dustin Leeh, Charles Wolske, Tim Wolske and his wife Jodie, Pamela Lowry and husband Richard, Jeremy Wolske, Mark Dallas, Richard Wolske, Jr. and Janet Wolske; 3 great-granchildren, Robert Lowry, Timmy Wolske, Jr. and Makayla Wolske; her special friends, Phyllis Wolske, Sandy and Stan Vandivere and Patty Layton. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to the Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, Texas 79106
