Donald Bristow

Donald Bristow 62, of Amarillo died Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Paramount Baptist River Road Campus, 8605 River Road with Micah Meurer, pastor officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Donald was born in Hanna, WY. He moved to Amarillo in 1965 and attended Palo Duro High School. Donald work for AmeriCold Logistics, formerly Freezer Services for many years as a forklift operator. He retired earlier this year due to illness. He was a very dedicated and faithful employee. Donald was a born again Christian. He is survived by his daughter, Tracy Herrera of San Antonio; 1 step-daughter Jeanie Brown of Amarillo; 2 brothers, Jim Bristow of Amarillo and Tommy Bristow of Wilburton, OK; 2 half brothers, Carl Black of Dallas and Kevin Bristow of Chickasha, OK; 1 step-brother, Myron Loman of Chickasha, OK; 3 step-sisters, Gail Evans of Chickasha, OK, Cheryl Turner of Cement, OK and Angie Bunch of Minco, OK; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Paramount Baptist Church River Road Campus, Fund for the Homeless, 8605 River Road Amarillo, Texas 79108
