Donald Davee

Donald "Grizz" Davee, 48, of Amarillo died Thursday, June 6, 2002, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Freedom Baptist Church with Sherman Eastland, chaplain of Northwest Texas Healthcare System officiating. Interment will be at Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage Street.

Mr. Davee was born in Odessa. He moved to Amarillo in 1971. He was an Army veteran and worked as a mechanic at Greg Lair for many years. He also worked in construction.

Survivors include 1 son, David Christopher Massengill of Amarillo; his mother, Mary Davee of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Doreen Groom and Dawn Johnson, both of Amarillo; 1 brother, David Ellis Davee; a special friend, Lisa Yarborough of Amarillo; and 1 granddaughter.

The family requests memorial donation be to Toys for Tots.
