Donia Duckett

Donia ""MeMaw"" Duckett, 85, of Amarillo, died Sunday April 8, 2012 at BSA Hospital Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Panhandle with Rev. Raymond Hall, retired minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Duckett was born January 29, 1927 in Electra to Oscar and Ethel Heathington. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Panhandle. After moving to Amarillo she attended Arden Road Baptist Church. She loved being around her family and listening to bluegrass and gospel music. She was preceded in death by: Her parents; her husband of 60 years, Truman Ralph; two brothers, Glenn and Lee Heathington and a grandson Guy Jones. She is survived by: Two sons, Truman Larry Duckett and wife Kathy of Amarillo and Glenn Duckett of Panhandle; a daughter, LaDonna Wilkinson and husband George ""Eddie"" of Amarillo; 1 sister Gladys Baker of Wichita Falls; ten grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren and her beloved dog, Angel.
