Donna Marie Burkhammer

Donna Marie Burkhammer, 76, of Amarillo passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St.

Donna was born April 10, 1950, in Spearman to Preston Byrd and Jean Ballard. She married Rondal Burkhammer on March 4, 1986, in Borger.

She was a homemaker and a member of Mescalero Baptist Church. She loved quilting, sewing and gardening. She also loved woodworking and traveling, participating in craft shows around the country.

Survivors include her husband, Rondal; four sons, Ronnie Burkhammer of Fritch, Alan Hale and wife Heather of Davis, Okla., Dale Burkhammer and wife Schree of Amarillo and Fred Burkhammer and wife Kim of Mulberry; a daughter, Shannon Henning of Dorchester, S.C.; two brothers, Dean Byrd of Amarillo and Gene Byrd of White Sands, N.M.; a sister, Tuwana Trout and husband Chris of Elkhart, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
