Donna Marie Stalker

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Llano Cemetery with Msgr. Harold Waldow officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Donna was born on August 17, 1964 in Wichita, Kansas to Bob Stalker and Nina Murray. She lived in Phoenix for 24 years before moving to Amarillo in 1998. Donna was active in Special Olympics, where she won hundreds of metals and awards. She enjoyed bowling, arts and crafts. She had a fantastic memory, always remembering birthdays and special dates. She will be remembered as a kind-hearted, gentle-spirited, caring woman. Donna loved animals, especially horses, her dog Mandy and her cat Patches. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors include her father, Bob Stalker, Sr. and wife Susie of Amarillo; mother Nina Murray of Kansas; 2 sisters, Annette Stout and husband Rodney of Missouri and Lisa Joyce of Arizona; 2 brothers, Robert Stalker, Jr. and Jeremy Stalker of Amarillo; 3 nieces, Amber Stout of Ohio, Jessie Stout of Missouri and Stephanie Joyce of Arizona; 2 nephews, Airman 1st Class Christpher Joyce of Arizona and Joseph Stalker of Amarillo; a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives. Preceded in death by: Grandparents, Cecil and Lois Stalker and Ruth and Stanley Murray; uncle Kent Stalker. Memorial Donations: Special Olympics
