Doris Carroll, 77, of Amarillo, died Friday, April 13, 2007 in Amarillo. Funeral Service will be held on Monday April 16, 2007 at 2:00 PM in Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel with Reverend Robert Field officiating. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage St., Amarillo TX Mrs. Carroll was a lifetime resident of Amarillo. She had worked as a realtor for Maureen Jordan Real Estate and had also worked for Guarantee Abstract Company. She was awarded with a lifetime membership of the Forest Hill Elementary PTA. Something she was very proud of. She enjoyed her trips to the Hill Country to see the Bluebonnets every year. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Cindy Groomer Warner in 2005. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Carroll; a daughter, Sally Mitchell and her husband, Henry, of Amarillo; a son, Guy Carroll and his wife Sherri, of Amarillo; a son-in-law, Richard Warner of Amarillo; special friends; Don Clement; Linda Carson; Ronnie Clement; and Tom Clement; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
