Dorothy Archilta Kee

Dorothy Archilta Kee, 43, of Amarillo, died Monday, May 14, 2007 in Amarillo. Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday , May 16, 2007 at 11:00 AM in Llano Cemetery, with Allen Williamson, Chaplain of Ware Living Center, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage St., Amarillo TX. Dorothy was a loving and caring person. She had many friends and was always there to help them. She never turned anyone away. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Coy Lea Farris in 2006 and Annie Kee in 2007. She is survived by 3 daughters; Rachel Bowen of Missouri; Rebecca Brandes of Missouri; and Brittany Martinez of Amarillo; four step sons; Anthony Martinez; B.J. Martinez; Bobby Martinez; and Johnny Martinez all of Amarillo; her father Charles Kee, Sr. and his wife, Jackie Kee, of Amarillo; her mother, Bertha White of Amarillo; two sisters; Diana Helton and her husband David of South Carolina; Sherrie Hossain and her husband Mamoon, of Amarillo; a brother, Charles Kee, Jr. of Amarillo; four grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends. We would like to thank the staff at BSA Hospice for the loving and special care they provided. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Olivia's Angels, BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo TX 79107. The family will greet friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
