Douglas 'Doug' Wayne Marshall

Douglas "Doug" Wayne Marshall, 62, of Amarillo died Monday, August 8, 2022. The family will host a celebration of life at the Fairfield Inn and Suites (1740 Airport Blvd) at 2:00 pm on August 27. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Doug was born in Berryville AR. on December 2, 1959, to Sherley and Hazel Marshall. He moved to Amarillo in 1975 with his family. In 1978, Doug graduated from Caprock High School. He loved his family immensely. He was very proud of his son, Jerimie. He spoiled his nieces and nephews when they came to visit. He cherished spending time with family and had a big heart. He was a big teddy bear. Doug enjoyed riding motorcycles, dirt bikes, camping, and working on cars. He was a Truck Driver for over 20 years. Douglas was preceded in death by his father, Sherley Marshall, his grandparents; Uvaldie and Loris Mashall, and Walter and Malishia Bohannan. He is survived by his mother, Hazel Marshall, his son, Jerimie Marshall, his sister, Brenda Marshall, his niece, Kendra Duggan, his nephew, Andrew Williams, his great nephew, Brayden Duggan, his Great niece, Kylan Duggan, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
