Dr. Connie Lee

Dr. Connie Lee, 65 of Amarillo died Thursday, December 24, 2015 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Bob Miller, pastor of Crossroads Country Church officiating. Private entombment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Connie was born in Roby on March 10, 1950 to Arthur Eugene and Jo Fern (George) Dennis. She moved to Amarillo in 1973 from San Angelo. Connie worked as a licensed professional counselor. She received her bachelors and masters degrees from West Texas A&M University. She received a doctorate in Christ Based Counselling. Connie was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to travel. She taught her children to water ski. Connie was a shepherd to many and enjoyed helping others that were less fortunate than herself. She married Larry Lee on May 13, 1973 at Lamesa. She was a member of Crossroads Country Church. Connie is survived by her husband; two sons, Trevor Howard Lee and his wife Brooke of Brownfield and Trampus Joshua Lee and his wife Angela of Colorado City; her daughter, Tandy Aguirre and her husband George of Amarillo; one brother, Todd Dennis of Austin; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center. Private entombment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, East Mausoleum.
