E. Maxine Lancaster Grabowsky

E. Maxine Grabowsky 86, of Amarillo died Friday, January 8, 2016 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas 79103. Mrs. Grabowsky was born on July 25, 1929 in Lloyd to Joseph and Lou (Cantrell) Rogers. She was raised in the Little Elm-Frisco area. She moved to Denton where she lived several years before moving to Amarillo in 1973. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carrell Lancaster in 1964. Her second husband, Bill Grabowsky died in 1999. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Carol Spalding in 2000 and a brother Buddy Rogers. Mrs. Grabowsky had a large, extended family and was dearly loved by all of them. She is survived by two sons, Gary Lancaster and Joel Lancaster both of Amarillo; 1 daughter, Beth Lancaster and her husband David Denney of Amarillo, one brother, Jimmy Rogers and his wife Jean of Denton and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to a favorite charity.
