Earl Dean Voyles Brewer 91, of Amarillo was called home to be with her family in Heaven on Monday Dec. 26, 2011. Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday at Oasis Southwest Baptist Church with Sanford Griggs and Harold Brewer officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Goodnight Cemetery, Goodnight, Texas. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Brewer was born on February 17, 1920 in Henderson, Co., TX, to William O. and Kate Tom (Mann) Voyles. She married Clarence A. Brewer on September 25, 1937. They owned and operated Frosty Drive-in in Dalhart for 7 years. They moved to Goodnight, where they farmed for 30 years. After their retirement they moved to Amarillo. She was preceded in death by twin daughters, Jeanette and Jeanell Brewer in 1949 and a grandson, Clarence Dean Brewer in 1963. She was also preceded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Mrs Brewer was a member of Oak Dale Grace Fellowship. Mrs. Brewer is survived by her husband, 6 children, Clarence E. Brewer and his wife Joy, Pat Jarnagin, Sue Bezner and her husband Tommy all of Amarillo; Claudette Vigil of DeSoto, Betty Kemp and her husband Jimmy Don of Levelland; Joyce Davis and her husband Mike of Hollis, OK; 16 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 6 step great-grandchildren, 1 great-great- grandson, 1 step great-great-granddaughter and an abundance of nieces and nephews. The family request memorial donations be to a charity of your choice.
