Earletta Alexander, 64, of Amarillo passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in Amarillo. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm in Second Baptist Church. With Pastors Thacker Haynes and Ken Carter Officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Earletta was born on March 3, 1951 in Pampa to Earl and Audrey Alexander. She moved to White Deer in 1956 where she attended school and graduated from White Deer High School. She went on to Texas Tech University where she earned a degree in Education. She spent 25 years teaching Home Economics and Special Education. After her daughters were born she became very active in their lives and their activities. Earletta was active member in the Panhandle Chapter National Multiple Sclerosis Society. She loved traveling, gardening, and taking care of her grandson. She is survived by; two daughters: Haley Houghton and Kelsey Moore of Amarillo; her mother, Audrey Alexander, of Amarillo; two brothers Carlton Alexander and wife Polly of Perryton, and Rondal Alexander and his wife Deb of Natoma, KS; one sister, Mayola Alexander of Amarillo. She also had one grandson, Alexander Houghton of Amarillo. The family requests that donations be sent to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Panhandle 6222 Canyon Drive Amarillo, Texas 79109.
