Earnest Calvin Red

Earnest Calvin Red 52 of Amarillo died Wednesday July 18, 2007 at Amarillo. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday July 25, 2007 at St. John Baptist Church with the Reverend A.L. Gibson of Jerusalem Church of God in Christ officiating. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery.. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage St., Amarillo TX. Earnest was the owner and operator of Exclusively Two Hearts In One Unisex Salon He was a hairdresser for many years and continued hairdressing until his health prevented him from continuing in his career. He loved to cook and won several first place awards for his desserts in the ""Men Who Cook"" competitions. He was also known for his organization skills. Survivors include: Five sisters, Alice Agu and Belinda Red, both of Amarillo; Sheila Barrow, Felicia Red and Wanda Red all of Phoenix, AZ; six brothers; Robert Red of Amarillo; Laverna Henry and Willie Henry both of Marshall; John Red, James Red and Lamont Red all of Phoenix Arizona; he also leaves aunts, uncles and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
