Edgar ""Ray"" Quesenberry 84, of Amarillo died Saturday, March 3, 2012. Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Jim Meyers, pastor of Oakdale Free Will Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Quesenberry was born on June 23, 1927 in Sprague, WV. He moved to Amarillo in 1962. He worked as a salesman for Sears for many years. He retired in 1987. After his retirement, he continued to work part-time. He married Marlene Ann Dahms in 1987. She preceded him in death in 2007. He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother. He was a longtime member of Oakdale Free Will Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday school and enjoyed playing the guitar for their Saturday Night Live Church fellowship. He is survived by 1 daughter, Lisa Hill and her fianc Patrick Burke of Amarillo; 2 sons, Ray Quesenberry and his wife Kathy of Panama City, FL and Rodney Quesenberry and his wife Laurie of Evans, GA; 2 brothers, Elbert Quesenberry and Walter Quesenberry; 9 grandchildren, Caleb, Chelsea, Cierra, Casey, Kristy, Michelle, Jackson, Logan and Maggie; 2 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Please send memorial donations to Oakdale Free Will Baptist Church.
