Edna Lorraine Bryant

Edna Lorraine Bryant 94, formerly of Amarillo died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in Oklahoma. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday at Llano Cemetery with Gil Hiltbrunner, of Jeremiah 33:3 Ministries officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas Mrs. Bryant died Wednesday, November 20, at her daughters home in Fletcher, Oklahoma. She was born January 29, 1919 in Kenefic, Oklahoma to Luke and Etta Straughan. She moved to Texas a young girl and later graduated high school. She married Arthur Tilman Bryant on September 3, 1939 in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2003. She had worked as a bookkeeper for Wilborn Brothers Industrial for many years and had been a member of the Paramount Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Pamplin, Fletcher; a son, Wayne Bryant, Amarillo; three grandchildren, Arty Pamplin and wife Jana and LaDonna Mabry, both of Fletcher, and Stephanie Bristow and husband Billy, Austin, Texas; three great grandchildren, Amanda, Aaron, Brock, Sarah and Matthew. Her parents and an older sister, Jessie, preceded her in death.
