Edna Prince Norris

Edna Norris 78, of Amarillo died Sunday, May 12, 2019 in Amarillo. Services will be at 11 am Thursday at Harvest Time Pentecostal Church of God with TC Messer pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Edna Prince Norris was born on September 30, 1940 in Amarillo. She worked as caregiver at the Clairmont for 22 years. Edna was always helping others. During the holidays, she would bake pies and cakes and deliver them to the homeless and less fortunate. She also enjoyed Bingo and traveling. Edna traveled from border to border and coast to coast. Edna was always busy cleaning and organizing. She enjoyed helping others in every way she could. She married Ronn Norris on September 3, 2006. She is survived by her husband Ronn of Amarillo; three sons, Henry Craig and Ronson Norris, both of Amarillo and Cody Norris of Boise, ID; two daughters, Vera Craig of Colorado and Ronda Norris of Oregon; brothers Harrison Grantham and George Fincher both of Amarillo; two sisters, Dorothy Jean Woods of Grand Prairie and Judy Vaughn of Fort Worth; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
