Edward J. Skow

Edward J. Skow, 78, of Amarillo died Thursday, May 27, 2021. No services are scheduled. Arrangements and Cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. 2800 S. Osage. Edward was born April 17, 1943, in Edinburg to Alice and Edward Sr. He married the love of his life, Jeannie August 2, 1968. They had two children, Michael and Allan. Family meant everything to Edward, especially his grandchildren. He was a very intelligent man who worked Hard. He was so dedicated to his job that he worked 3 years past his retirement. He worked for the state for 43 years. Edward was a woodworker and was good with his hands. He would build toys for his children. Edward enjoyed working out in the yard. He kept his acre immaculate. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Robert Skow. He is survived by his wife, his two sons; Michael, Allan Skow, and his wife Abby, three grandchildren; Austin, Madison, and Layton, and one brother, Donald Skow.
