Edward Charles Smith

Edward Charles ""Pops"" Smith 63 of Amarillo died Thursday, May 17, 2012 in Amarillo. No sevices are scheduled at this time. Cremation was by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Smith was born on November 7, 1948 in Andrews. He faithfully served our country with the United States Army for 15 years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Charles Smith and Martha Louise Moyle-Smith. He is survived by 2 sons, Edward Smith, Jr. and Charley Smith. The family requests memorial donations to the Thomas E. Creek Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 6010 Amarillo Blvd. W. Amarillo, Texas 79106.
