Edward J. Wright

Edward J. Wright 77, formerly of Amarillo died Monday, Oct. 1, 2018 in Odessa. A private family gathering to celebrate his life will be Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018. Mr. Wright was born on Feb. 7, 1941 in Newport News, VA. He was a long-time resident of Amarillo. Mr. Wright worked as a truck driver for 60 years. He worked as a driver for Affiliated Foods for many years. Edward was a very loving father and grandfather. He was a hardworking and caring man He enjoyed spending time with his family. He attended Amarillo Fellowship. Edward is survived by his son, Kevin Draper and his wife Missy of Amarillo; three daughters, Holly LeDuc of Tenn, Angela Tidwell of Amarillo and Kimberly Brooks of Odessa; his former wife, Carolyn Wright of Amarillo; his son in law James Tidwell of Houston; nine grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
