Edwina Schlientz

Edwina Schlientz 77 of Amarillo died Wednesday May 16, 2007. Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday at Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel with John Love, pastor of Trinity Fellowship Church and Roger Fenlaw lay pastor officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 8310 S. Coulter St. Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Schlientz was born in Friona. She moved to Amarillo in 1991 from El Paso. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. She married Raymond Schlientz in 1947 at Santa Rosa, NM. Mrs. Schlientz was blessed with a very loving and gentle spirit. She loved everyone she met. She was a devoted Christian and loved telling others about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She never complained about her ailments and always had a positive outlook on life. Mrs. Schlientz was an inspiration to her family and friends. She was a wonderful wife, daughter, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband of the home, 1 daughter; Marcia Worley and her husband Bill of Arlington, 1 son; Tom Schlientz and his wife Kathi of Tyler, her mother; Jewel Ellsaesser of Amarillo and 2 grandchildren; Zach and Matthew Worley both of Arlington.
