Edythe Sipes Smith 80 of Amarillo died Sunday, March 6, 2004 at Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday at the Edith Ford cemetery in Canadian with Andy Taylor and Gary Jahnel officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel 8310 S. Coulter St. Amarillo, Texas Mrs. Smith was born in Canadian. She moved to Amarillo in 1974 from Canadian. She and her husband owned and operated the Amarillo KOA camp ground for several years. She married Marion H. Smith in 1941 at Canadian. They attended Gem City Community Church. Survivors include her husband of the home, 2 daughters; Frankie Faye Smith of Fullerton, CA and Cathy Conyers and her husband Ed of Port Orford, Oregon and 2 granddaughters; Dawn Guela and Star Conyers both of Seattle, WA.
