E.H. “Jimmy” Collins, 86, of Amarillo died Thursday, November 14, 2002, in Amarillo Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, with Dale Westbrook, pastor of New Fellowship Baptist Church, and Dr. Dana Moore, pastor of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Collins was born in Dalhart. He moved to Amarillo in 1936 from Cibolla, New Mexico. He worked as a dealer in the mobile home industry since 1944. He married Glenda McGavock in June, 2002. He was a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include: wife, Glenda Collins of the home; 2 sons, Al Collins and Cliff Collins, both of Amarillo; 2 step-sons, Victor McGavock and Bill McGavock, both of Amarillo; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren.
