Elizabeth (Beth) Mae Graves Price, 85 of Amarillo died Friday June 6, 2008 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday at the Primitive Baptist Church, 914 W. Colorado with R.A. Tidal, elder officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Price was born March 18, 1923 in Elmore City, OK to V.O. and Florence Graves. She graduated from Elmore City High School in 1941. She married Kent (Jack) Price on August 23, 1941. Together, they started Price Overhead Door Company. Their son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Claudia continue to operate the business today. Mrs. Price was a homemaker. She loved cooking and caring for her family. She was a long-time member of the Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a grandson, Cody Hobbs, 3 brothers and 1 sister. The family would like to thank her caretakers, Barbara, Melissa, Brinda, Lupita and Victoria for their loving care in her last few months. We would also like to thank Dr. John Chandler, Dr. Joel Osborne, Dr. Walter Allison and the nurses and staff of BSA Health System, Odyssey Hospice and Accolade Homecare for their kind and considerate care of our Mother and Grandmother. Survivors include 3 daughters, Sharon Hobbs and her husband Bill, Lagena Welch and her husband Rick and Jackie Forbis and her husband Joel all of Amarillo: 1 son Tony Price and his wife Claudia of Amarillo; 1 sister, Gena Anderson of Amarillo; 3 sisters-in-law, Ruth Price, Ann Price and Dee Graves all of Amarillo; 8 grandchildren, Cliff and Michelle Hobbs of Tampa, FL, Cathy and Clint Price, Greg and Barb Price, Justin and Shelley Price, Angel and Danny Hughes, Brittni Forbis and Logan Forbis all of Amarillo, and Ashley Welch of Euless; 8 great-grandchildren, Kyle Hobbs, Kristen Hobbs and her fianc Jason Roach, Matthew Hobbs, Anthony Price, Leland Price, Ashton Hughes, Barrick Hughes and Billy Price; 1 great-great-grandson, Cody Allen Ray Roach and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM 6:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home and request memorial donations to Odyssey Hospice, 6900 I-40 W Ste. 150 Amarillo, Texas 79106 or the Primitive Baptist Church 914 W.
