Elizabeth 'Betty' Ann Medlin

Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Medlin, 82, of Amarillo passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her adoring family on February 12, 2023. A celebration of Bettys life will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the Rector Funeral Home Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Betty was born November 11, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri to Charles and Agnes (Stolte) Rebmann. Betty was incredibly family oriented. She loved spending time with them cooking meals. She was an amazing cook. Betty took great pride in her family and raised her children by herself. She was the most strong and independent woman. Betty was very generous, caring, nurturing, and loving woman who believed family sticks together. She was an incredibly proud, yet humble person. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, brothers John, George, Don and Charles, and sister Mary Guielker. Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters Karen Conlan and Debi Scott and husband William, son Steven Medlin, sisters Kathy Rebmann, Charolette Wiemann, Agnes Toone, and Joan Jacob, her brother Glennon Rebmann; as well as her four grandchildren Shannon Phillips, Renea Tollis, Brandon Scott, and Madison Scott, and five great-grandchildren.
