Elizabeth Anne Parker

A Memorial Service for Elizabeth Anne Parker will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 6 in the sanctuary of St. Paul United Methodist Church with Reverend Steve Stephens, Sr. Pastor officiating and Reverend Perry Hunsaker, Associate Pastor. Anne was born May 18, 1936 to the late J.L. Martin, Jr. and Wenonah Willingham Martin in Shamrock. She Married Eddie Parker June 8, 1955 in Borger. Anne resided in Pampa for many years before living in Mangum and Checotah, Oklahoma and later settled in Amarillo. She was a very active and vivacious person. Anne was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She never met a stranger and was a kind and giving person. She will be greatly missed, by all who loved her. SURVIVORS: Her husband, Eddie Parker of Amarillo; Two daughters, Wenonah Carol Arthur and husband, James of Manchester, England and Denise Downs and husband Tommy of Pampa; her mother, Wenonah Martin of Amarillo; a sister, Judy Mayo and husband Calvin of Aurora, Illinois and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Viewing will be at Rector Funeral Home from 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday September 5, 2012
