Emett Hall

Emett Ray Hall, 68, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Saturday at Rector Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Hall was born in Childress. He moved to Amarillo in 1941 from Childress. He worked as a carpet layer for Alamo Carpets, Texas Carpets and Casey Carpets. He retired in 1996 after 35 years in the business. After his retirement, he worked for the River Road ISD as a custodian. He married Paula Glisson in 1962 at Amarillo. Survivors include: his wife of the home, 2 daughters; Diane Woodruff of Dallas and Charlotte Jones of Amarillo, 2 sons; Emett Hall, II., and his wife Molly and Eric Hall and his wife Jaime all of Amarillo, 5 brothers and 5 sisters and 13 grandchildren; Jeremy Woodruff, Justin Woodruff, Kaylee Moore, Amber Jones, Brittany Jones, Ereca Jones, Hope Jones, Jeremy Jones, Emett Ray, III., Dusty Hall, Coby Hall, Cheyenne Hall and Ethan Hall and 1 great-granddaughter; Bailey Jo McKillup.
