Emmer Fay Morrison 90, of Amarillo died Sunday August 2, 2009 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Jubilee Apostolic Church with Bro. Royce Elms, pastor and Bro. Nathan Carrington, associate pastor officiating. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage Street, Amarillo, Texas Mrs. Morrison was born in Vernon. She moved to Amarillo in 1952 from Post. She was a long-time member of Jubilee Apostolic Church. Mrs. Morrison was a loving mother. She enjoyed taking care of her children. She was also a mother to all of her children's friends. She loved Bluegrass music and was a member of the Panhandle Bluegrass and Old Tyme Music Association. She married James Earl Morrison in 1938. She was preceded in death by her husband, 5 children, Leon Morrison, Mary Jo Howerton-Clarke, Betty Louise Morrison and Lonnie Gene Morrison and Billy Ray Morrison, 3 grandchildren, 4 brothers and her parents. She is survived by 2 daughters, Evelyn Lisenby and her husband Clayton of White Deer and Elaine Calderon and her husband Manuel of Amarillo; 2 sons, Arlie Morrison and Jim Morrison and his wife Edith all of Amarillo; 1 daughter in law, Ruby Morrison of Amarillo; 4 sisters, Leona Letcher of Amarillo, Essie Shirley of Marlow, Roberta Barker of Duncan, OK and Lillie Barker of Bowie; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
