Ernesto 'Neto' Rocha Jr.

Ernesto "Neto" Rocha Jr., 41, of San Antonio died March 7, 2021. Mass of a Christian Burial is 1:00 pm Saturday, March 13 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church officiated by Father Haider, He will be laid to rest at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo Tx. The service will be live-streamed on the Rector Funeral Home Facebook page. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage. Rosary will be 6:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Ernie was born July 14, 1979, in Memphis Tx. to Francisca (Del Bosque) and Ernesto Rocha Sr. He grew up in Robstown Tx. He was a hard-working mechanic. "Neto" was the family mechanic who was known to barter the price to fix someones vehicle. A task that seemed nearly impossible to one may cost them a single beverage or a plate of food or just a simple smile. Thats the type of person Ernie was. He was a kind-hearted, loving friend who would give the shirt off of his back for anyone in need. He loved helping anyone in need and would drop everything he was doing to help. He was the person you could go to for advice, or vent to because you could always count on him to listen. His signature style was his Stacey Adams, Kakis, and of course his bandana. His passion for cars started with his father and his uncle. His passion was lowriders. Ernesto is preceded in death by his grandparents, Fidel and Ruperta Rocha, and his great uncle, Lorenzo Rojas. He is survived by his parents; Francisca Del Bosque and her significant other William Maldonado, and Ernesto Rocha Sr. and his significant other Linda Benavides, his daughter, Chasity Rocha, six sons; Joshua, Judas, Ernesto III, Ruperto, Israel, and Mathew Rocha, two children Desiree and Manuel Reyna, one sister Francis Lee Rocha, and one brother, Juaquin Rocha.
