Ethel Lee Varner

Ethel Lee Varner 83, of Amarillo went to her Heavenly Home on Monday July 27, 2015 in Amarillo Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am in Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Pastor Gil Hiltbrunner of Shiloh Fellowship officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel Ethel was born on April 20, 1932 in Waco. Their family moved to Amarillo when she was 4 years old. She was a secretary for many years at the V.A. Hospital. After retirement Ethel loved being a wife, mother, and especially a grandmother. She was preceded in death by her first husband Roy F. Page in 1979. She is survived by her husband; Darrell W. Varner of Amarillo, two sons; Kenton F. Page and wife Linda of San Antonio, Roy Kyle Page and wife Julie, a daughter; Kimberly Page- Wain of Amarillo, a sister; Florine Tindel and husband Troy of Campbell, a brother; George James of Amarillo, a special granddaughter; Haley Nicole Taylor, 3 grandsons; Josh and wife Crystal Nelson of Amarillo, and Mason Page of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Ben Wain of UK and 3 granddaughters; Hilary and husband Arthur Stautzenberger of Stavanger, Norway and Rachel Nelson of San Marcos and Nina Wain of UK. Six great grandchildren from the UK, 2 great grandchildren from Amarillo, and one great grandchild on the way in Norway.
