Eudell Ellis

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, June 5 at Llano Cemetery with Bill Gehm, pastor of Grace Calvary Chapel officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 South Osage St. Eudell was born on October 10, 1912 in Blossom, and raised in Paris, TX. She had been a resident of Amarillo for the past several years. While in Amarillo, she was a nanny for Bob and Rachael Aikman. She later worked for White and Kirk Department Store, and spent several years selling mobile homes. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Eudell was very talented when it came to sewing. She also enjoyed playing cards, and was a fabulous cook. Her kind heart and generosity were only a few of the many characteristics that made her precious. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her companion, Jimmy Collins; her son, Billy Franklin Ellis; and seven brothers. Survivors include a granddaughter, Jeanette Beckett and husband Robert of Amarillo; a grandson, Rusty Ellis of Arlington; two great granddaughters, Joni Williams of Ft. Worth, and Christina Beckett of Amarillo; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family requests that memorials be made to BSA Hospice and Life Enrichment Center.
