Euel Lee Perry 67 of Amarillo passed from this life on Tuesday May 25, 2010 in Amarillo. Memorial Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, May 31, 2010 at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Alan Adams, son in law officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Perry was born on May 10, 1943 in Marietta, OK, to Hiram and Agnes (Holman) Perry. He was a proud member of the Choctaw-Chickasaw Indian Nation. Mr. Perry was an accomplished artist and specialized in buffalo bone carving. He received many awards for his art. For the past eleven years, he had a booth at the Crazy Horse Monument in South Dakota where he displayed and sold his art. He also was an accomplished writer and published five books. He received a Masters Degree in Literature from Eastern New Mexico University. He served in the Army with the 82nd Airborne Green Berets during Vietnam and was honorably discharged after 14 years of faithful service. Mr. Perry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a very loving dad, granddad and husband. He married Linda Hubbard on February 12, 1996 in Laughlin, NV. Mr. Perry is survived by his wife Linda, 2 daughters, Jaquel Adams of Amarillo and Kim Brown of Aledo; 4 sons, Clay Perry and Kelly Clark both of Amarillo, SSGT Casey Clark of Grand Saline, serving in Afghanistan and Peter Flack of Hurst; 1 sister Patricia Vogler of Vega; 16 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family requests memorial donations be the Ussery-Roan Texas State Veterans Hospital 1020 Tascosa Road Amarillo, Texas 79124
